Yu Yunquan, Vice President of China International Communications Group, delivers a speech at the 2nd China-U.S. Youth Dialogue on People-to-People Exchange in San Francisco on August 28 The Second China-U.S. Youth Dialogue on People-to-People Exchange, co-hosted by the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies and The Carter Center of the U.S., took place at the University of San Francisco on August 28. Nearly 50 experts and young scholars from leading think tanks and universities in both countries gathered to discuss the theme Seeking Peaceful Coexistence in a Multipolar World. Speakers emphasized that: Cooperation is the only viable choice for China and the U.S., as the world’s two largest economies and most influential nations; people-to-people exchange is a vital bridge across the Pacific, helping to enhance mutual trust and understanding; and youth are the hope for the future of bilateral relations, carrying the responsibility to build a more stable, peaceful and prosperous world.
