Estonian Embassy holds a film salon with the attempt to promote film production cooperation between China and Estonia | |

Anete Elken, the cultural counselor at the Estonian embassy in China, introduces a film from her country at the embassy in Beijing on April 10 (YU LINTAO) On the eve of the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation and the 9th Beijing International Film Festival, a film salon titled You and Me took place at the Estonian Embassy in China on April 10, in an attempt to promote film production cooperation between China and Estonia. The gathering was organized by the embassy in China, the European Union Online Film Festival, Jingzu Cultural Media (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and the Beijing Association of CBD Sophisticated Industry Promotion. Initiated by Jingzu Cultural Media, the film salon aims to create a platform of information communication, policy sharing and connectivity for cultural exchanges among Belt and Road participating countries. On the scene, Anete Elken, the cultural counselor at the Estonian Embassy, introduced the beautiful natural sights and unique culture of Estonia and its film co-production policy, adding that she hoped more Chinese film production companies will make films in Estonia and work with Estonian film production companies. Peter Sallade, from the European Union Online Film Festival, shared relevant film and television projects. In addition, Wang Juan, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of National Cultural Innovation Zone, participated in the event along with representatives of more than 20 world-renowned cultural enterprises.
