An Uptrend for China-Romania Ties
The Romanian ambassador applauds the bilateral relationship on Romania's 98th National Day

This year witnessed a number of important events in China-Romania relations, including two meetings between the heads of government, said Doru Romulus Costea, Romanian Ambassador to China.

In addition, the two countries' business cooperation has become more diversified, while people-to-people exchanges have strengthened, allowing for better mutual understanding.

"We take pride in the increasingly strong and fruitful relationship between Romania and China," said the Romanian ambassador at a reception banquet celebrating National Day in Beijing on November 29.

December 1 marks Romania's National Day. The nation established diplomatic relations with China on October 5, 1949, four days after the People's Republic of China was founded.
