Chinese President Xi Jinping will host the Group of 20 (G20) summit scheduled for September 4-5 in China's eastern city of Hangzhou, the Foreign Ministry announced.
Xi will also attend relevant events, including an informal meeting with other BRICS members' leaders, and deliver a keynote speech on the opening ceremony of the Business 20 (B20) summit to be held on September 3-4, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang in a press release.
This year's G20 summit features a theme of "Toward an Innovative, Invigorated, Interconnected and Inclusive World Economy."
