The Rabbit Master is a traditional clay sculpture that carries fond memories for many Beijing residents. In the old days, kids across China's capital would honor the Rabbit God during Mid-Autumn Festival, usually in early September, channeling a desire for good health and family fortune. People also believe the mythical figure can help them avoid the pitfalls of disaster and disease. The Rabbit Master clay sculpture was included on the State-Level Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2014.

JiTuFang is a Beijing-based workshop producing Rabbit Master sculptures. The Rabbit Master's traditional image today has received a makeover through innovative designs featuring modern artistic elements, gaining popularity among young people. JiTuFang also sells Rabbit-Master-themed ornaments, blind boxes, and bookmarks online, making this intangible cultural heritage more accessible.
