Xi says China ready to work with Russia to safeguard WWII results

President Xi Jinping attended the Extraordinary G20 Virtual Leaders' Summit and gave a speech titled "Working Together to Defeat the COVID-19 Outbreak." (XINHNUA)

President Xi Jinping on September 3 said that he is ready to work with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, to join efforts with the international community to resolutely safeguard the victory of the Second World War as well as international fairness and justice.

Xi made the remarks in an exchange of messages with Putin to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War.
