The Fifth Session of the 12th National People's Congress (NPC), China’s top legislative body, will begin on March 5. It is part of the annual "two sessions," which also includes the Fifth Session of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
Today, a briefing on the NPC was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Spokesperson Fu Ying answered 15 questions, which mainly focused on China-U.S. ties, tax reduction, civil law revision, etc.
