Allegations of infiltration and interference in Australian politics increased tensions between the two countries and local Chinese and overseas Chinese students have experienced insults and even violence it the wake of the criticisms. Years of sound bilateral ties are in jeopardy. BUSINESS Green Legislation is a story about the new environmental tax law designed to force polluters to change their ways, improve their technology and reduce polluting emissions to help in advancing good environmental practices. The law sets limits on emissions and taxation rates of various levels for atmospheric and water pollution, as well as hazardous and coal waste and empowers authorities to issue penalties.
