The 15th China Cross-Straits Technology and Projects Fair opened on June 18, focusing on innovation and startups.
The four-day event in Fuzhou, capital of Fujian Province, attracted more than 2,000 companies and research institutions, including 615 from Taiwan.
Central state-owned enterprises such as China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation and CRRC and nearly 100 tech firms from the mainland such as Huawei and ZTE participated in the fair.
Forums on talent, Internet finance and business startup will be held to boost cooperation across the Taiwan Strait.
The fair was first held in 2003. The 14th fair attracted 210,000 visitors and reached contracted projects worth nearly 50 billion yuan ($7.3 billion) last year.
