China-Themed Books Get a Boost in Peru

A memorandum of understanding (MOU) on jointly publishing China-themed books in Peru was signed in Lima, capital of Peru, on November 19.

Xu Bu, President and Editor in Chief of China's Foreign Languages Press, and Rolando Vizarraga Robles, President of Peru's Editora Peru, signed the MOU.

A joint editorial department specializing in China-themed books will be established in Peru to bring such publications to the country and the whole South American market as well as to facilitate the translation of Peruvian literary works and their publication in China.

The Peruvian version of President Xi Jinping's The Governance of China was also released at the ceremony.
