China's top legislature passed a bill to ratify an amendment to a tariff concession schedule of the country's World Trade Organization (WTO) accession protocol.

Under the amendment, China will eliminate customs duties of 201 information technology (IT) products in stages, which are covered by the WTO Declaration on the Expansions of Trade in Information Technology Products.

The bill was submitted by the State Council, China's cabinet, to the week-long bimonthly session of the National People's Congress Standing Committee for ratification.
