China is expected to see over 74 billion parcels in 2020, a growth of 18 percent year on year. Despite the short-term shrinking in business volumes during the Spring Festival holiday and the coronavirus epidemic, the upbeat future outlook for the courier sector remains unchanged.
Online personal insurance premiums totaled 185.77 billion yuan last year, compared with 119.32 billion yuan in 2018, with premiums soaring 55.7 percent year on year. With easy access to the Internet, more and more Chinese consumers are choosing online channels to research and buy life and pension products.
Chinese tech giant Huawei Technologies said it will invest $1.5 billion over the next five years, targeting 5 million developers in its Kunpeng computing ecosystem. The company will invest $200 million throughout 2020 to support universities, startups, individual developers and its partners in the Kunpeng computing industry.
