The Asian-African Conference was held April 18-24 in Bandung, Indonesia. The Chinese delegation to the conference was headed by Premier Zhou Enlai. At Zhou Enlai's suggestion, the Five Principles of Peaceful Co-existence were affirmed by the conference and enlarged to Ten Principles, which became known as the Bandung Spirit.
